Ford Rangers

Anybody else use a ford ranger as a transport vehicle? I was just wondering if mine is normal or if it sits lower than everybody else's. Mine is on the left '96 2wd. My friends' is on the right '98 2wd. I don't think it's because my fat @$$ is on the hood either:rolleyes:

MAybe the raised them in the time frame??:confused: or whoever had that one before you lowered it maybe ....but yah it does look lowered

I like rangers alot, but my dad now has a nissan, my dads ol 86 ranger was a pos, but the damn thing kept runnin and ran like a muther for a 2.0 4 banger:devil: I loved dat thing like nuttin else, but damn did it look ugly:eek2:

I have a 95 ford ranger and the back sits highier than both those trucks, because I have a towing package. But normal tear and wear could lower your truck.

i had a 98 ranger ex cab 4x4 and it squated with the 400 in the back of it too i got rid of it i blew out the 4x4 lol

I've been using my 92' Ranger 2WD w/ a 2.3L 5 speed for years now. It works well, easy on gas for distant riding locations and it's up to 128,000 mi. and counting. My next one will be an extended cab for more room for gear though. I also run with one in the bed and one on a trailer with no problems.:D

BTW, the reason it sits lower is because of the long frame compared to his. More weight is distributed to your rear axle than his. My long bed does that too.;)
