300 ex carb question

Hey Guys,
Anybody know if the stock carb off a 01' and an 03' the same?
I have an new 03' model with a flakey carb and the dealer can't figure out what's wrong. I think it would be easier to replace.
I can get my hands on an 01' model carb at lot cheaper than a new one.

i am pretty sure that they are the same because honda hasnt made ne changes to the modle except plastic colors since the bike came out id get the cheeper carb

yes they are the same. they changed the carb sizes on the 300ex but it was back in 96-98 sumtin like that
