I had to mount that wonderful license plate on my 300. Since there is no mount bracket I mounted it on the back of my airbox. Well yesterday I was out playin' in the snow and when I got back I noticed the right side of the plate got bent in by the brake caliper. O well, that's what they get for making me put something on the quad that shouldn't be there. Anyone else have any trouble with thier plates?

Why dont you just attach it to the back of your jacket? That way if you fly off during a jump, you'll still be licenced!

I just put mine in my air box, I don't even bother leaving mine where people can see it because alot of people around here look for the stupidest reason to report you, and they WILL give the cops your plate number , and they will usally go to your house and question you.
Its pointless , but now without a liscense plate all they can say is "a red fourwheeler drove up my road".

I am pretty sure you can get a ticket if your plate is not visible.

ON A QUAD never heard of that except or street leagle quads (never sal one in real live) you could get a nubmer plate for the grab bar and mount it on there(it might work).

Where I live you don't have to have license plates and you can ride your quad on the road if your 16+.:D I live in a little town with about 600 people and everyone rides four wheelers even the sheriff and he's my neighbor.:p

Pennsylvania passed a law last year that says you have to register your quad and display a license plate and you also have to crarry insurance.

the best place to put it is behind your front bumper if it is stock or if you want it visable, my friend attached his to where his warning stickrs were he just pop-rivited it into the holes that are already there

This only works if you decide your brake light is optional. I mounted my plate using the rubber mounts that used to hold the brake light on using two bolts. Trust me... I hate the fact that it is even there, but it doesn't look that bad. Just a suggestion.

I know Danielle. We're really good friends with the family. I ride up there all the time. Whats your name? The trail to Slickville isn't that hard to find, you have to cross over where the put the wells in, and go up the hill. then you're back on the trail.

here in new hampshire we dont have plates, just stickers you put on your front and rear plastic. that would be awesome if they made quads street legal here, id always drive my quad to school instead of my piece of **** car.

Sorry it took so long to get his picture - I live in RI but have a Massachusetts Out of State registration so that I can ride in any of the state parks.

Hopefully I can attach this picture - all I did was use two heavy duty tie wraps (zip ties). Its been on for a year with no problems.

Hopefully this helps.

up here in wisconsin we just have stickers that you can put where ever you want on your quad as long as there visable. they are just like the snowmobile stickers. it must suck to have licence plates.i put my stickers right where my legs are so no one can see them if im on it.

No you don't have to have a license plate if you are from out of state. The law does state that you have to have proof, like a drivers license I guess.

wanna know where my plates at? I would too, i "lost" it on the way home from the dealer. The way i figure it is, if a cop does see you with your plates, your screwed if you run. But no plates, no ticket in the mail or house visits.
