View Full Version : Need a jump start on Re-jetting

01-20-2002, 11:37 PM
I Just added a K&N air filter to my stock 2002400EX. I plan to add a Yoshimura Slip-on pipe and to drill a few 1" holes in my airbox lid. Once I do these other additions I know I will need to re-jet to get the most out of my efforts.

Could some of you with re-jetting experience give me some ideas on where to start with jet sizes.

I mainly ride at between 600 - 2500Ft and in fiarly mild temperatures, 45-80 degrees.

I don't wnat to re-jet during the year so I am looks for the best all year settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the extech link at the top,,it wont' tell you what jets to run but will point you in the right direction.

if you buy the k&N power up kit (which is what i recommend you do) it will have a good set of directions with it and will get you started in the right direction.
