Does anyone have a pic of a tubular swingarm? I am going to make one, but wanted to see a pic first.

You are probably looking to build something like this: http://www.mpracing.net/Products/g2_drag_lite_series.htm
I might build one too, using 4130 and TIG welding the joints. Should be strong enough for light jumping. Definately lighter than stock or most aftermarket ones.

I have to agree with nacs.
Sometimes its better off not trying to re-invent the wheel.
(But, sometimes it is.)
check out www.atvfourplay.com You may get some ideas from these styles.

I'm not sure what kind of use your going to do with it . But I can assure you that these are used by some very aggressive MX riders without failure.
Also offered are a lighter duty style for dunes or drags

Don't be discouraged. Give it a shot. Even if you use 4130, you are out maybe $60 if it doesn't turn out, and you'll know at least you gave it a shot. Tonight I was thinking about how overpriced ATV stuff is. We also drag race, and are getting back into road racing, and my ATV crap is waaay more expensive than the best car products. What this industry needs is some good old fashoned competition.
Look at every swingarm you can, pay attention to design. Practice your welding. Learn about gussets, where they are needed and how big are required.

Thanks for the help. I have done many custom projects and this will be easy, Katana 600 into Quadzilla frame, CR250 into 400ex frame and I am also going to make long travel a-arms.
