I tried to do a search but came up empty handed.

My gas tank rests on top of my FCR39mm carb... what can I do to fix this issue? Spacers of some sort? I need some ideas.

you got it "spacers", i used a couple rubber ones on the plastic heat sheild, keeps the tank off the fcr

Yea I noticed the same thing. Rests a little on the top of the carb. I took a rubber hose and cut in half installed a 1/4-1/2" thick pieces on top of the oem rubber mounts that the tank sits on. Seems to work

Sparks said to put some of the stuff that goes under your carpet under the gas tank.....couldnt find any of that so i used a leather glove:p

I just bought a FCR off of Sparks425ex and he said he used pieces of a rubber mat to lift his tank up. Also he said it only needs to go up about a 1/4-1/2". I'm still trying to find something to use. Does the gas tank hold the pieces in place?

The gas tank will hold them in place. I used some squares cut out of a rubber car floor mat. Mine doesn't touch just sitting, but when I ride it scrapes a bit on the tank.

Have you noticed any wear on it from touching when you ride?

My FCR fits fine. I had to trim a piece of the snorkle there the throttle cable was touching ti but thats it.
