Jetting on '03 EX

I did a search and did not get a definate answer on this.
My friends sister just bought an 03 EX right off the showroom floor. She bought a FMF powerbomb header and powercore 4 exhaust as well as a K&N for it. She will be running with the lid on between sea level and 1000ft. What does she need to run for a main, pilot jet and what clip on the needle? Is there anything she needs to do on the mixture screw?

i would say like a 155 start there...... and a 42 pilot air screw depends thats sometihng ur gunna have to figure out

i agree. a 155 seems like it would work good. a 42 pilot is what i would get. the needle should either be in the stock position or one notch down. the fuel skrew is trial and error. i would think 2.5 turns out would be ok. just make sure your headers are not glowing where they come out of the head. check them frequently to see if they are glowing at idle or at 1/4 throttle or less. if they are, go out on the fuel skrew in 1/4 to 1/2 turn increments until they are not glowing.
