Honda is the only car Co. who makes a motor that make over 100hp per leater. No turbo no S/C....just all motor....

Um, check your facts again. Lotus makes a 4 cylinder engine that puts out over 100hp per liter. Last time I checked, the Lotus was known for "The hardest working" N/A production engine based on HP vs liter's.

Ok im a Turbo Eclipse guy and that wasnt impressive at all !! the motor makes 200? the car weighs what 2200lbs? is that correct?? ok well i have watched and watched again it took that thing 8 seconds to get to 60 mph!! what a joke that is !!

well i think a 14 second 1/4 mile time for a completly stock car is pretty quick but thats my opinion. you tards dont even know what rice means. theres not 1 thing on that car that looks ricey besides the seats. a rice burner is a basically stock P.O.S foreign car that has all show no go. that car is completly stock on the outside with a nice motor in it. thats not rice. yes i think it is rediculous what kids will spend on these cars to make them fast when they could get a smallblock 350 and put out triple the horsepower. i was strongly against these cars at one time just like you people but then i drove some and realized they are nice cars. not everybody wants to buy a big gas guzzling V8 and have that. its something different, i just get ****ing sick of people talking **** about these cars.

well lets see....civics are econmy cars....along with all of the other 4 poppers...they are not made to be revved to the moon..like all these kids do....its jsut hard on the motor..and not god for it....you say those cars are nice? eh....i drove one around a parking lot and laughed...the only cars i would drive that are rices are these 2...an imported skyline or supra.....to me..that car is rice..and dont tell me i dont know what rice is....i grew up around car shows..i know what real power is.....to me...every 4 popper that is modded..is rice..cept for the 2 listed above

here is the link to the guy who owns this car. it has the list of mods and the guy claims a 13.8 1/4 mile time. i defiantly belive it with how fast he gets up to 100 in that video.

this link shows alot of cars stock 1/4 mile times. there isnt the same prelude in there. there the model under his which is a regular prelude [which says 15.1], his is a prelude type sh which isnt listed.

#1, you're talking out of your assho. #2, REALLY fast cars do that. not some POS 1.8 two liter. i drank that much soda today, something's wrong there. #3, fuel shut off is 105 i believe, well in most cars anyway, who cares? some people do that everyday. #4, i bet half these guys quads would kill that thing in the 1/4 mile so there's no way it was even near 14. maybe 20? Actually, I am an Acura tech and yes Honda does govern the newer cars. But NOT at 105mph and NOT by shutting off the fuel.

The 2.0l DOHC in the TSX is governed to a limit of 131mph, plenty fast enough for a 4 door sedan. The RSX is governed for the same speed but with a ever so slight tweaking of the PCM, the car is capable of much more.

As for the B18c5 motor, when the GSR first came out in the 2nd gen Integras, it put out the most horse power per liter than ANY other normally asperated motor in a production vehicle.

That being said, there is nothing like the sound of a properly tuned V8:macho



Oh, I drive an 87 integra and the wife drives a 93. the 87 has 217,000 on the original, and stock, motor and will still do 120mph. the 93 has 151,000 on the stock motor, (only mod is a K&N filter for economic reasons), I have had to 128mph going from Helena MT to Yellowstone N.P.

The GSR was never intended to be an economy car, beleive it or not, it is classified as a sports car. And with a redline of 7200RPM, it was intended to be drivin hard;)

Alright I am not going to say that I hate imports with most of the time I do. But yes I will also admit that there are alot of good imports around to. Personally I did not think that that civic was fast but I will give it credit for not having a fart can or park bench or anything. But The only imports I find imterresting are if they are rear wheel drive or all wheel drive :)
