ITP Baja T-9 wheels??

Hey guys, I have a question. I have the new ITP Baja t-9 wheels, fronts. I haven't had a chance to race on them yet, but they seem good. My question is will they hold up well? Should I have spent the few extra $'s and just bought welded race wheels? I only got these because my stock wheels were beat up and the bead had a few flatspots, so the tire would not seal right. So you guys that have these, do they hold up well? They are an excelent price if they do.

I would like to get a set myself.... the only concern I have is what will happen when some dirt, sand gets in between the ring the ring and wheel itself. Maybe nothing, but i'm waiting for some longevity reports.
