i have silver race cut plastic and transparent red frame on my 400ex and was wondering i have itp t-9 series rims on the way should i powdercoat them black? and will it hold up on rims?

it will if u dont ride in rocky conditions but will eventually chip and scrape.

a better choice would be to get them anodized black

Sure, powder coating will hold up. The only thing is the rolled edges of the rim will become chipped after a few rock encounters.

I PC'd a fresh set of stock rims a month ago and decided to mask off the edges and I must say they are holding up perfectly. Not only that, but they look pretty damn cool as well :macho
