rev boxes

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knew if a 400 rev box would work on a 300 and if would hurt anything if it did work even the 400 rev box. i beleive that the plugs are just the same and that the 400 will plug into the 300. i know ur probly saying why dont he just go buy an aftermarket one, well i guess u could probly call me a tight *****, but i just wondering cuz i can probly use a 400 rev box. thanx

i thought someone tried to put a 400ex box in another bike (i don't remember what bike) and they said it plugged right in but it would not start. it had something to do with the spark.

it might work..but if it does even plug in then your bike will run like ****....the timeing will be WAY off.....be much better off sticking with stock or geting aftermarket
