We had the same thing happen to us back in May we had our banshee for sale asking $4500 for it and some guy e-mailed us and said that he is stationed in South Africa but his partner here in the states owes him $10,000 so he could have his partner give us the 10 grand and we keep the $4500 for the Banshee then he will give us a shipping address where we can ship the Banshee and the rest of the $$ too and use the leftover money to pay for shipping plus keep $300 for our troubles. We passed it along to one of our friends who is in the military and he e-mailed this guy back and forth still waiting to see if our friend is going to receive a check. We also asked where he saw our Banshee and he said he did a search on Yahoo  I will keep you guys updated. STEF

This is a common scam. There have been a couple threads about this in the past, you can search for them. It's almost always the same thing. Someone overseas, will give you much more than you are asking so that you will foward the rest of the cash along with the quad.
