no compression?

i just changed the cluch in my 350x . kicked it over a few time and then i quit getting compression. it feels like the the compression release is on but the cable is not even hooked up. could i have screwed up the mounting of the kickstarter gear? any ideas?

yeah sounds like the dec mechanism is stuck open...might wanna take the cam cover off an check everything out...i use to have a 230 quadsprt all the time that did it so i took all the decompression stuff off
