View Full Version : beadlocks are so easy to mount tires on

I just bought ITP 9" beadlocks. I couldn't beleive how easy it was to mount the tires. they cost me $187 a rim. I bought them because I thought about it itp offset rims 190's cost $50 and mounting of tires on rims $25(atleast at anyplace around here). so the way I looked at it, its gonna cost me $150 initially. I typically change tires twice a year and then when I get new tires its gonna cost $100 to have old tires taken off and new tires mounted. so thats $250, so for the extra $100 I would rather buy rims I will never have to worry about bending, damaging, and best of all NEVER EVER PAY SOMEONE TO MOUNT AND DISMOUNT TIRES. Also beadlocks will make my 250r trike look even better and the bike will turn more heads.

i paid like 250 for my douglas ultimate beadlocks...i think ya got ripped buddy:(

I am guesing the beadlocks you have are 8" rims. I would have bought 8" beadlocks, but all the tires I have are 9" and I have 4 new sets of tires, that I got for a good deal 2 sets of xcr's, 18" turf tamers and 22"realators for $200. So I was kind of stuck with 9". For some reason 9" beadlocks cost alot more than 8".

I didn't think turf tamers came in 9 inch sizes....

man u one crazy mofo. thats too much. you should of bought hipers. hell of a lot better rim.
