Help!!!

I have a 250x and i am planning on starting to race MX soon and need to know what mods i need to put on my quad. Right now it is bored .080 over with a WB piston, cobra exhaust, ac front bumper with mud screen, ac wide grab bar, Fly handle bars, K&n airfilter and airbox outerwear, and shockwears. I am planning on getting a Sparks X-4 before i start racing. I need to no what other mods i need to put on my quad and do i need to change anything?:macho :macho :macho

I was think out gettin some but now i deffinatly am. Also should i buy after market skid plates for mx racing?

Yep, get you some aftermarket skids just the belly and swingarm skids are needed. Probably should invest in a tether kill switch since most tracks require them. A steering dampner is always helpful. Once you get some races under your belt you want to upgrade the suspension for sure. Good Luck! Be Safe and Rip it up!

make it wider........ sto start out just get wheel spacers, if this is ur first year i dont think ur gunna be to aggressive for the spacers and u wont brake anything. But deffinitly dont keep them when u dont need em.

also should i get a high rev CDI? And im also prolly gonna get a eazy pull clutch. would these be good things to have?

Ez pull clutch will help greatly with arm pump. I am not a fan of changing the cdi box. Team Duncan usually leaves them alone, most quads stop making hp around 8000 rpm so it does not help you that much to increase the rev limit. But if you are on a 250x and you change it, you should be able to fly in reverse!!!!

lol, yeah it would cause rite now it starts cuttin out in reverse at about 5 mph but if i get the cdi i might be able to do 20:eek2:

well if u got the the new CDI u could defently spin on pavement in reverse. It wont do it on my 300...

Get a Killswitch and Some good boots and a helmet and a chest protecter. These are some musts for racing. A nice set of nerfs would be cool too.
