I just bought a 1991 LT80 for my boys. This thing hasn't been ran for a while. I've cleaned the carb, put a new starter relay on it and flushed the gas and oil lines. I'm pretty sure that the crank if full of gas/oil since it wouldn't crank with the spark plug in and shot gas 3' up with the plug out. Can anyone tell me where the drain plug for the crankcase is located on this? I can find it anywhere and I know most of the 2 strokes have a drain. Also, the starter didn't hold up long and won't engage now. Is there a rebuild kit available?

Thanks in advance for help.

Goto www.atvsource and check out the kids quad section.
There is tons of info there from people in the know.

Thanks for the link. I haven't dug too deep yet, but seems to be a lot of info there on these little bikes.

Well, I got it started last night. I got a starter off of ebay for $105.00 with free shipping. They have a couple of others on there now. It works great. I finally had to turn this thing upside down and crank it with the spark plug out to get all that gas out of the bottom end. If fired right up. It seems to run with the choke on, but not very good with it off. I have to keep playing with the throttle to keep it running. It was getting late by that time so I'll have to play with it later. Thanks for the help!
