Sprocket selection???

I am planning on running a few GNCC and local motocross races this year, and just haven't been able to decide the right tooth combination on the two sprockets. Any suggestions?


I am running a 2002 400ex with a 440 big bore kit in it and white brothers exhaust.

Go with a 15/36 gearing you will like it a lot.

15/36 is perfect for MX.. but not for XC racing...

It also depends on your tire size.. stock tire size = stock gearing

I run 3 different types of tires ranging from 18, 20, 22's in the back.. each one needs a different sprocket.

15/36 is only good for MX though..

i have 18 inch kenda klaws in the back, and i race MX what sprokets should i use?
