11:1 high comp piston?, and cam?

I want to get a 11:1 high comp piston and cam for my 300Ex. can me and my dad do this ourself's? what tools will we need? Will i have to run race gas? ALSO what cam does everbody suggest?

stock bore? If so ur gunna need to know how to hone and measure the piston so it fits good in the sleeve and hone the sleeve to the size of the piston
