Just wondering guys, I know that the 400ex is the fastest Honda 4 wheeler now, but how do their dirtbikes compare? Yeah stupid ? but I am bored....

any 2 stroke bike over 80cc should be able to waste the 400.

Do you mean their bikes vs other manufactures bikes, or compared to the 400ex? I know their bikes are competitive power wise to any other manufacture. in fact, the 2002 CR250 is the horsepower king in the 250 class( with the exception of the KTM250, which I never see any around) Also, with the smaller bikes anyway, a heavy rider will greatly inpact on acceleration because if the small motor. If you had a 300lb person on a cr80(if he could fit) and a 300lb person on the 400ex, the EX will beat it by more than a 150lb rider on each. power to weight. Generally,small motors need less weight to be fast. I think a cr125 is closer to a 400ex than a CR80. (depends on how much to drivers weigh though) I know I can beat a 2001 cr125 in a drag race, but I have a pipe, 155mj, raised needle, vented airbox lid, and 22" tires. I also had a 15 tooth c/s sproket at the time. The tires alowed me to keep ahead in top speed. A stock 400ex would likly loose in a drag race though with same sized riders. It is also hard to compare atv's to bikes, they are totally different. Oh, and I weigh 185lb, and the guy on the CR125 weighed 210lbs. we didn't switch, but if we did, we would be closer(weight difference, not driver skill)
