LOL I feel pretty safe in knowing that by the time my daughter starts dating, vitually all fieros will have been shredded and melted down to build something more usefull..... Like a pooper scooper:D

had someone come into the shop the other day wanted the ac tested . i told the service rider that we stoped working on them in the mid ninteys. ha ha no joke the last ones that made were actually good its kind of like the impla ss cars when gm starts geting them rite they scrap them

lamborghini's kit cars use the fiero frame & a chrysler engine...there are a few on ebay that are all done for like $20,000. I might get one and if any of you say they suck then you have never seen one cause they are pretty cool. If you pop the hood open they suck but you can really pick up some chicks in one.

sorry, if it looks like a Lamborghini and its not the real thing, then it, as you put it, "sucks". I know what kit your talking about too.... the countach kit... no thanks. That kit is junk as well. :eek:

I had a buddy with a Fiero.. he loved that lil thing... it was ok i guess but it is just so small. The body is all fiber glass so it wont rust. And they made a few v-6 versions that where pretty cool considering that car doenst weight much.

We also have a kinda famous Fiero around here... its got a Cadillac Northstar engine shoved in it.... I think thats a 32 valve v-8 ..

i thought they stopped maken them because they had a bad tentency to catch fire.. my buddy thats like 6 ft 4 has a gt witch has the v6 in it.. he looks funny in it cause he's so tall..

yes, that little car had alot of room to smash a bigger engine in it. it was considered a mid-engine car, but the engine pretty much rested in the rear.

it is best known as THE mid-life crisis car during the mid and late 80's.

fyi - around the late 80's Consumer Reports reported both the Fiero and MR-2 as the safest vehicles on the market. this report was attained using crash test information.
