Will 300EX shocks fit a 250EX?

I am looking for a cheap way to get a bit more travel out of my 250EX. I looked at some works on ebay and it said they were for 250EX or 300EX. This leads me to believe that 300EX shocks will fit a 250EX. I found 2 front shocks barely used for 46 bucks. Should I go for it? My front shocks bottom on a jump higher than 3 feet or sometimes less if I am not careful. I am looking for something a bit stiffer with more travel and since the 300EX weighs more than the 250EX, I figured those may be a good match for the 250EX.

if they are only 46 bucks go for it. U can probably sell them for more if they dont work. Just make sure there not blown or something cuz thats cheap.

no no no no no they dont fit, becuase 300 fit on a 400 and 400 dont fit on 250 i tryed it:D

yeah 300 shocks fit on a 400 but it puts the front alot lower. 300 shocks are around 16 inches long and 400's are around 19 inches long. they might work man. buy em and try em. i sold my shocks for $125 so u can get some money out of em if they dont fit

400ex shocks are 16 1/4 inches. long travel are 19

how did you sell your shocks for that much? they only go for like $30 on ebay
