welp ill introduce myself first. im 17 and have been riding quads for about 6 years. my father has been so kind to have bought me a 98 blaster, and just last year a 02 banshee and 02 400ex. well he has just informed me that he is going to give me the 400ex for graduation this coming year. while im working this summer and during school i want to do some work to it to make it better. i rode my buddys 440 ex and just loved the power. so far i want the 440 kit, a hot cam, and um air scoops. ill have all the money for that pretty soon, i got 200$+ saved up. i would also like to do some other things. eventually a header and silencer after the 440 kit. is there anything else i should defiantly do?, i dont plan on racing but would like to have more power out of the stocker 400ex. i would like suspension and maybe +2 inch a-arms. what would be a nice brand of a-arms and suspension that is the best for the money?.
thxs

you would probably do well with some jd or burgard reg +2.. if you are an extremely aggressive rider i would say save up, and just get the best you can buy, Long Travel suspension.

what suspension would you recommend? im thinking works would be fine for me. 325 for fronts and 425 for rear doesnt seem bad. also what would be the best exausht for most power while being sparkarrested and under 98 decibles. thxs

suspension is a very touchy subject around here. But I think the consensis is that no matter what you ride, whether its works or elka (which is what I got) its alot better than stock.

I also have the HMF pipe, which is pretty loud so would also have to get the queit core to get it below 98 db.
