im buyin a mini strobe light for my 400.
i was wonderin if anyone could tell me how to set it up where when i turn the high beams on the strobe comes on to.http://www.optxbystreetglow.com/products/strobelights.gif

why dont you wire it to its own switch, so you can trun it off and on when you want without haveing to have your brights on?

We bought one like that from walmart and put it on my little brothers breeze mount it under the tank so i lights up on the engine and stuff :macho

Um just the wires but in the same ares they should sell some switches for like $1.00 I bought a cool toggle switch that lights up red when i turn the lights on for a buck ;)

Dan, if you want to hook it into the light switch, I would think that you would hook the ground wire up to a good ground. Then take the power wire, and tap into the power wire from the high beams. I would probably stay away from tying into stock equipment, just in case something goes bad. This way the dealer can't come back and refuse to fix it, blaming the light you tied in as the cause of the problem. Also, to be on the safe side, wire an inline fuse in the power wire, regardless of whether or not you hook it up to the existing light switch, or a seperate one.
