another oil question

the mobil one 15/50 ( red cap ) the stuff you guys all use, is it the stuff with " super syn " in on the bottle. just wondering, i hope i got the right stuff

i run honda gn 4 20w 50w and change it every week, i practice maybe 3 times a week and race once and change it before every race it cost me 7 bucks for 3 quarts of gn4 and when i change it its not really that dark i think its alot better than using expensive oil if you change it alot

When you run synthetic you don't have to change your oil as often.. It doesn't break down like conventional oil..that's the benefit of it. I put 6,000 miles on my S-10 between oil changes. I run mobil 1 synthetic in it tooo.

My dad has alot of highway miles to drive to work and back. He changes his oil about every 12,000 miles on his ford ranger and it has 140,000 on it and it still purrs like a kitten..

My new Acrura recommends that you only change the oil every 10K miles. And that's in the manual.

Rico, I thought you were going to say you put 6000 miles on your quad before and oil change. I was like damn.

yea mine says super synth too. They all say different things, super syth, try synthetic formula, etc. same oil though
