lsr makes good ones, they are camber caster adjustable, houser make some good ones, there are others i just can't think of them right now.
as far as price wise they are not the cheapest out there.
I have a feeling that roll design make the expensivest(is that even a word)

laeger is a very good company, i would highly recomend them...Laeger also is very well priced....also roll design is awsome, top of the line, BUT, you said you dont' want them to cost more than your bike, and ROLL IS EXPENSIVE.
I too would stay away from lonestar, I've heard and seen a few things that i sure wouldn't want to happen to me....for example, a broken shock mount on the lower a arm. and i've also seen a cracked swingarm.

Leager T-pin, Roll design Lobo 2, Houser 19' longtravel with shocks, Walsh long travel. These are some of the best a-arms money can buy.

Yeah, a laeger T-Pin front end would be awsome, BUT, they don't make it for the 400ex....YET.

A set of houser a-arms would be great but the long travel setup is even better.
