dirtbike or truck ??

what do you guys think i should get, a new dirtbike or a truck? I'm about to turn 16 in aug. so this would be my 1st car. It's a black 98 chevy shortbed with only interstate miles on it, new brakes, and needs a paintjob.

i had the option between a new truck or a quad, went with the quad... then again, i already have a truck... so i just had to decide whether i wanted to upgrade or get a quad

Gotta have a truck to haul your bike once you get it...cant drive the bike to and from work (or maybe you can:) )

Yeah, thats the best thing you can do right there.

You could prolly get a good re-paint of the whole truck for less than 1000. You can around here anyways. :scary:

the truck, but if your leaning towards a bike just get a used 250, 125's are not worth buying when youll end up selling when youve outgrown it.

well a 250 and 125 are the same size, they sit at the same height just different motor basically. at your height youd be fine on a 250, just a little heavier and alot more balls. i was planning on getting a 250 and i have little to no experience on dirtbikes. ive ridden a couple 125's and a cr 250 and could handle it fine at 5'9 135 pounds. course i never got out of 3rd gear. but the power is so strong on a 250 its awesome. you will defiantly thank yourself if you get one.
