Should I buy it?

Well i want to race in the 14/15 class since i can't race my dale here anymore. There is a nice 250x on ebay. I also have cannondale shocks-arms that i will put on it. And i will buy a +4 axle and rear shock. Would this be a competetive quad? I am only wanting to spend around $2,000 on one if you know of any nice 250x's or 300ex's. Thanks for your imput.

damn that thing is mint id say its worth 2200 max its old but id still pick it up for maybe 200 its really mint and in good condition its hard to find nice 250 nowadays

yep..it is in very nice condition..but im thinking of just buying one already race ready..instead of spending and extra $1,000 or whatever.

Nice 250 but I heard that the X liked to eat valves if it was hopped up. thats just what I heard so I may be wrong:rolleyes:

I may be wrong but by what I know, I thought they made the x in 87 and then skipped 88 and 89 and made 91-92??? I dunno maybe I'm confused but they skipped a couple of years I just don't remember if it was 88 and 89 or 89 and 90:confused: Maybe someone else know just what I thought:cool:
