Go with the tag x-5. They are 5mm thick in the stressed points (renthal is 4mm). That makes them 20% stronger. They look sweet (I got copper) and are a great bend (quad). If I bought thelm all over again, I might get cr high, but what ever you like. The quad bend is about 1" lower and a hair wider then the stockers. They are the same price as renthals, so you cant go wrong.

Hey 440exracer,
Can I have the end caps from your stock bars? My son's quad is missing one.

909s are what I have, and they are pretty nice. They have a low bend, which I like.

tags are very thick at the clamp.........they need the adapter to fit. I prefer stock bars..........I WANT them to bend when I rollover. saves the steering stem from bending. JMHO

I got factory 909's they look great and bolted on in minutes, they seem really strong and have a weird bend, but once i got got used to them(after 1 ride) my freinds stcok ones felt kinda like crap. not bad: 7075 aluminum for only 70 bucks

Well, i woudl go with TAG X-5 bars or a set of renthals. both good bars.....you don't need new clamps with either...and both, pretty reasonably priced.

If you don't want your steering stem of handle bars to bend in a roll over then tightin your bars just right to where they will bend when it rolls over. Just make sure they are tight enough to ride and they will bend lose when you roll over and do that with all your controls to so you don't mess them up to in a roll over.

Terry at marcums atv has some aluminum fly bars that aren't bad. 400EX bend $27-30 bucks. My friend has a set. Have seen others similar on the net $25-30 bucks. He had renthals hanging on the wall also last time I was in there. I run renthals- 250r bend myself.

Just to clear things up:
Tag x-5 use stock mounts, they are thicker inside the bar. They have a crossbar.
Tag t2 bars need a bigger clamp, and are very strong. They have no crossbar.

I have the tag x-5s and they are awesome. I have the cr low bend and they are soo sweet, I would highly reccomend them to any motocross rider.
