View Full Version : Where is the needle jet?

I have my carb apart for rejetting. I changed the main, now i want to go up a clip on the needle but cant find it.

ITs in the thing connected to your throttle cable that unscrews on top of your carb. At least thats where mine is located. You have to slide the spring back and undo the clip in there and then slide the cable out of its slot and then it will come out. Just dont let all the little parts go flinging across the room. So technically the needle isnt in the carb if its already apart. its at the top and slides up and down through the jet to control feul flow. Hope I helped. Im not to good at these things. I just noticed you posted a simple question and nobody answered you yet.

yeah. its pretty simple. just dont boend anything when you pry the springs open. i didnt, but it would be a pain in the *** if you did. i had to use an impact wrench (lightly tap) to get out the screws. the gasoline froze them up. good luck and follow what TRX250EXER said. have fun:blah
