i want to get a pipe for my dad's 300 4x4 so it has more powerfor when we put bigger tires on it and so it will push the plow better in the winter.
well wich pipe is a good one?
i was thinking the supertrapp ids2 because it is only $180 for the full system. how about the wb maybee.
and will 300ex jets work on the 300 4x4 because i have a jet kit for my 300ex.

i think all pipes for the trx 300 are complete systems aren't they? the headpipe and silencer are welded on from the factory. i would not expect a gain in power though. also, i am wondering if the jets will be different. i have a feeling that the jets in the trx 300 will be round on top and need to be removed with a flat blade skrewdriver. the jets for a 300ex should be removed with a socket. there is no need to buy a jet kit, just go to the dealer and buy an individual jet or two for the trx after you get the pipe.

i all ready have the jet kit for the 300ex though, the stock jet in my ex's carb had to be removed with a socket but the jets in the jet kit are put on with a flat tip screw driver.

are you sure that is the right jet kit for the 300ex? it may be but it sounds weird that they go in with a skrew driver, not a socket. we do need to remember that dynojet sizes are different than keihin sizes. for example: a 150 dynojet is approximately a 152 keihin.

it is a dynojet jet kit, it came with an adapter i belive for the jets.
