I'm running a 42, but I would run a 40 if I didn't have any motor work done.

I'm running a 40 right now, but next time I have my quad apart, I may throw the 42 in.... its sitting on my desk collecting dust.

everyone with the smaller pilot jets might want to check their headers at night to see of they are glowing. mine were glowing where they came right out of the head. i was even running a 45 pilot but the fuel skrew was only 1.5 turns out. i am now at 2.5 out and i think i fixed the problem but i haven't looked really close yet. if you are heavily on the gas, the headers wouldn't glow. it was when i was just driving around at only 1/8 throttle or less. they even did it at really low rpm's in 3rd cruising around.

I put in a 40 today and it seems to have even better throttle response. Not much fun putting one in though!
