well i got my 2003 xr50 tonight:macho

time to start the moddin on it... pappy u'll be seein me really soon to get the frame done... i gotta order bars here fo rit tomorrow bc the stk ones suck...

i just got it and already wrecked jumpin my road with it haha... damn handy bars are 2 low for me...

1200$ out the door but well worth it... better then any mod to my quad...

Put more seat time in on it and you will get used to the small bars. I mounted a set of BMX pegs up on mine but I can't do standing wheelies very well yet.

its so fun haha...

bars suck though... i can't take it after riding my friends with higher bars... they will be gone soon... very soon...

i can already ride wheelies far as i can see almost haha... they are easy to do but i am doin them up hill on a road right now...

endos are fun 2... i'm already doin them but my knees hit the bars...

i let my friend kara ride it and she wrecked it 3rd pinned on the road haha... both her and bike were fine... just ****s and giggles laughin at her...

i'll have pics sunday... my digi cam in in madrid spain right now iwth my sister... sunday we are goin to east run 50 track to ride... only problem is i got stock bars and everyone else doesnt...

mine was 1091 i think... then they added

and it came to 1200...

i know of guyz that got them for 800... its jut the 50s are in high demand here right now with all the new 50 tracks open... they sold 3 last night when i was there... they got in 3 on the truck last night and all 3 were gone within 15 mins... i actually had to put 800$ down the night b4 so they would hold one for me...

baja designs has a street legal kit for the xr 50 so you can ride at night and also ride on the road while being registered under moped because it is less then 50cc's

this bike is the most fun i've ever had... i can't get off it...

rico i gurantee u'd have more fun on these 50s then ur 416... its so much fun its unblieveable...

right now i'm thinkin about slain my elkas on my 406 for a 10.5 inch travel rear end and forks for the 50... then i'm gonna get a 118 big bore stroker motor for it:macho

awesome! my mom thinks that she can take her metropolitan 50 through the trails and keep up with us. she's like, all i have to do is get those grippy tires for dirt and stuff. lol, we're buying her an XR70. i LOVE them things, they're so fun to mess around on. i guarauntee(sp?) the first day she gets it i'll be banned from it:devil:. have fun with it Tommy!:D

BTW I got a 1982 Z50 for sale......$800 O.B.O.......chit, nm, $700 FIRM!!! Here it is..... It was a Drag Race Pit Bike....notice the tow strap, and wheelie bar (wheelie bar gone now, so is the light set-up)

my friend matt won the stk clase by 25 seconds at that race... he flys!!!!!!!!!

My son lives in Hastings. Yes, I kinda know Scott. Rode quads with him, Van and those guys. I kinda met them thru Brian Hill ( Arc's Garage) I just sent Scott the pics via Email.

BTW, were you there for the races? If you were, you telling me those guys were runnin stock? 1st two motos? Hardly stockers, Chris Van's old bike was in it....NOT STOCK!!!! LMAO, Van got NOTHIN STOCK! Those guys were runnin' pipes, airfilters (could see em hangin off the XR80 carbs).... and I am sure there were a stroker or 2 also. I am not takin anything away from your buddy, I am sure he is fast, some of those guys are wicked out there, for sure.....me....I stay where it is safe, behind the camera. :D

You can use all sorts of forks and shocks, all gotta be modded to work. I think the forks on Van's are from a KX65, and the rear is a Rezzy unit off an Artic Cat Snowmobile. I do believe there are some companies that actually make stuff for them....check this site.... http://www.fast50s.com/

I really don't know most of those guys, I know some of them to see them, but not good friends with any. Purchase Line is coming up in week or 2, I think. I don't have aol. Did he run in the 1st or 2nd moto? Most of the guys in the 1st were modded, 2nd looked a bit better. I will go back to the video and watch for him. Talk to ya later, gotta get to bed....work in AM.

one has 10 inches of travel... the other has lmfao... they aren't even close...

i'm goin to buy a lehay racing rear end... costs 525$ and gives u 10.5 inches of travel... i'm not sure what i'm doin with the front...

RC bike is a BBR framed bike... only has 6 inches of travel and cost 1500$

its funny now i have a crowd of like 7 to 12 year old kids up at my house watchin me on it all day haha... i can't get enouf of it..

i let this girl named tessa ride it... shes never been on a bike in her life... i tried to tell her as much as i could... she was scared but she wanted to do it... she went about 15 ft got scared and grabbed the frotn brake... well i have it set so i can do endos/stoppies and she flipped right over... i told her don't do that bust she paniced... there was about 5 lil boyz laughin there *** off at her and i was one of them lmfao... she was alright just her pride smashed haha :macho

these things are fun for everyone... even my mom has been cruising around town on it!!!!

Tommy if they that fun as you say they, i am so picking one up and getting some up grades...

they have adult races on 50 sometimes at the races, not only 10 or so but 30 or more and let me tell it is so funny watching them try to jump some table tops and then endo or whip out...

what are some web sites that i can go to, to get some pipes, handle bars and other stuff...

and are you sure that i will be able to fit on one?? i am bout 6'3 /6'4 and 240 lbs...

if ur 6'4 ur goin to need a TALLER SEAT AND TALLER BARS!!!! thats all u need to feel comfortable...

i'm 6 right now and all i need is the bars... i may get a seat later on...

i'm only 140lbs and it flys iwth me on it...

if ur over 180 u mayb wantin to look into a big bor kit... they go from 300$+++
