Has anyone made home made air scoops for a 400ex? I have heard of people doing it, but I haven't seen any. I would like some pics if you have any. thanks.

yea $50 for a $3 sheet of bent aluminum

i think it would be awesome to make your own, just get a piece of cardboard and crease it and everything how you want it and copy that to a piece of aluminum and cut and fold it

i make air boxes also, adn belly skids, and key mounts and footpeg extensions!!!

hopefully i can get the shrouds to turn out good!!

alright, good news, i will have custom air scoops in the next 2 days!! ill post pics asap, they turned out real nice, so ill prob be asking $30 shipped for a pair!!

b4 i made them i just shot an estimate out, so if they turned out crappy i wouldnt be asking 2 much, be it looks like there gunna come out nice, so yes, ill prob be asking 30!

Aluminium and I think it was .0063 or .063 one of those, relatively close to 1/4.

im prob making mine out of 16 guage stainless steel!!

go to the products section at my site, shows what there gunna look like, but in the pic there made out of tin!! should have the first set st real ones done soon!!!
