oil injection

I got my son an older ds 80. how do I remove the 2-stroke oil injection, a line comes of the oil tank to the case and then the side of the carb. do I just block them off? then run pre-mix?:confused:

i would look for a kit on ebay or do a google search on it. if you cant find your answer there look at some blaster block off kits and try to work off there idea. in my mind i would think it would be as easy as blocking the ports for the oil but who knows there may be something else to it?!

I can block it and run pre-mix, but is that ok

yes, that is ok. The oil should go through some kind of a pump. I know on our race sleds we would disconnect the pump also to gain every bit of H.P.
