Need help

My brother was riding my quad and it stall and made a real bad noise. It wouldnt start, so we took the Sparkplug out and it looks like something had impact with it. My valves have been tapping also.

What do you think happened.

is the bike still running? if not that could be problems.

No his bike dont run. Somebody should help him, sounds like he has pretty bad problems.

your valve's were taping before of after? please say after so i don't have to tell you you shouldn't ride when something like that is wrong:rolleyes:

well, i would start by adjusting your valves

Well it didnt run afterwards and his valves were tapping for awhile before.......I told him to adjust them:rolleyes:

maybe he thought the piston would wear the valves out just enough where they wouldn't hit the piston so he would have maximum lift and airflow:rolleyes:

Something hit your spark plug?

If your valves are tapping, then adjust them, but it sounds like it's too late now. If something hit your spark plug, then you have MAJOR problems. Your only solution is a complete top-end rebuild.

yes i know i should of adjusted but owell gettin new topend rebuild and my dads payin for it:D
