how can i lower stock front shocks on my 400ex thanks

hmm if you would like too do it easy, get gas shocks... to lower your stock shocks...umm dont you have an owners manual? i dont hehe... ok to lower them, i think you must jack up the front so both front tires are off the ground. then you must have some kind of tool to twist somthing? thats about much as i know buddy..sorry

u cant really lower stock shocks, u can make the spring softer and the weight of the quad might make it sit a little lower, not much at all though, well hope i helped

You need to buy what they call a spanner wrench. It cost about $7. Hook this on the groved collar that is at the bottom of your front shocks. Twist until the shock is compressed as far as possible. This will make your front suspension stiffer and sit slightly lower.

You can use a large screw driver and a hammer.You don't have to take the front end of the ground.This will only drop the ride height a little(not very noticable, but it will soften the ride some....but not much)

You can usually find a lowering kit on ebay for about $50. Brand new they are about $100
