I think if William Yokley and I pretty sure Doug Gust runs them, then they could'nt be that bad.

I got Elka on my 400ex, I am deciding to try something different on the R. I am gunna run the 400's Elkas until I have enough cash to get some Axis LT or PEP LT. Cause the motor on the R is done. LRD265:D

I'd only run TCS, or PEP. Axis too, but with their pricing I don't see them in my future :scary:

people only blow elkas cause 1, they buy them used and dont get them valved for their weight 2 they use standard length shocks for hard core MX and they dont have enough travel 3 dont get them rebuilt when its needed, so they wear and blow, and 4 cause they bought a bad set, theres nothing wrong with elkas, i run TCS abd PEP, but im getting elka, and have had them before, and as for the guy that said if doug gust uses them they must be good, well yes, and he probably gets his shocks worked on after every race!!

i use pep zps right now and their awesome, but if i had the money i could definitaly get custom axis shocks in the front, they are so smooth you dont have to preload with them, definitaly the best shocks made. BUT if i had to choose a rear i would have to say either TCS or Axis. TCS rebuilt rear shock is one of the best shocks otu their.. they handle so smooth and soak up everything
