Save the grand you'd spend on that and put it into something that would actually make a difference...like suspension...or motor.

Just my 2 cents...

why couldnt you just take your stock header and cut it fter it makes the turn after it hooks into the motor, then go down to car-X and have them mak some pipes for you and weld them on to the stock header outputs, then run straight pipes, with a bend or to for dragging, or run 2 slip ons, i bet i could do it for 250-300 tops including pipes and 2 suppertrapp slipons, cut em down and hey you got a dual piped bike with tc racing pipes.

07-21-2003, 01:49 AM
Looks cool but probably works like chit......

the pics don't show how the header is bent or run back, which makes me wonder if it's more for looks than anything...:ermm:

what do u mean, u need to buy the silencers or u can upgrade to carbon fiber?

are the silencers in the pictures carbon fiber?:huh

EDIT:

i just received my email from Randy too and this is what he said to me...

Hey Mike,
You will recieve a 2.5-3 H.P. gain through the entire range. And the system only gets better with other motor mods. Retail on the kit is 600.00 including air box. ANy other questions call or e-mail. Thanks for the interest

Looks alright, I would just stick with a normal exhaust.:)

If it gives as much power as they say it does that isnt a bad price at all especially if it comes with the airbox.

we need someone with a lot of money to try it out first, i sure am sticking to my lrd for a while.

Chanman420q
07-21-2003, 03:39 PM
i definitly want it :D but like u said a lot of money, well thats the next thing im saving up for

Juggalo
07-21-2003, 05:08 PM
the silencers in the pic are aluminum. you get the 2 headers, 2 silencers, airbox, and jets for 600 dollars. if you want to upgrade your silencers from aluminum to carbon fiber you have to pay 120 dollars extra.

DITTO!! I have wanted DUALS for my quad, ever since I put in the 350X engine. I have the pipe to make a new exhaust, all stainless steel. I just need to get a matching set of silencers.

i think it looks sick, but i would like to see how the left header is bent/routed

muff
07-21-2003, 06:01 PM
i was just thinkin about the price, its kinda along the lines of a normal exhaust and airbox

think about it, $150 for the airbox, $450 for the exhaust...yes it is a lot but thats how everything is priced

Chanman420q
07-21-2003, 06:29 PM
when he emails me back ill ask him for more pictures and to see the actual bend of the header. ;)

And make a airbox, and it will look like some homemade piece of crap, lol. J/K

The thing you missed is that the other pipe goes where the battery is now located so you have to have the airbox so you can relocate the battery and that is anothe 150-200$.

I am aware of that I was talking to the guy that was talking about making a homemade dual exhaust with 2 slipon's for less money.

I called them after the original post on here about them. The guy never got back to me. Then, last week, I had a message, I think was from him on my voicemail. Business must be good, response time is lousy. I wouldn't wanna be the first with these pipes, but they definitely look trick, IMO.

I'd be interested in hearing about anyone that actually gets them. A sound file (.wav, mp3 whatever) would be cool too.

I'd also want the Z looking silencers. ??

I think they look sweet as hell! I am with everyone else, I want to see what the hype is about first. Is it a "racing" pipe? I want to see pics of the airbox too...I am liking the idea though!

You can see the left header, it comes down the left side of the motor instead of the right side.
If you go to the site, you can see it real good on the Z, but if you look close it is the same way on the 400ex

i was just talkin to my dad about the idea yesterday. that's pretty cool but i don't like the way they look. they don't really look like pipes. a dual DMC Alien would be sick! maybe a White Brothers E-Series Disc would look awesome too. or just a normal pipe like Big Gun. that would look cool, but anyway, that's neat. they should make 2 different models. i guarantee(sp?) that they'd make more money.

Ex_Rider43

they look very trick i think

how can a Z have 2 silencers on each side like on the pics????

soemeone with money try it!!!!
