i have one and i like it... i think it's worth the $$, it fits what i wanted in a sport/race quad. they run about $7700. if you do a search in this forum, there are threads about them... some problems, but mostly minor... nothing unexpected for a company producing thier first quads. overall they did an incredible job, you can't build a machine to compete with it for anywhere near the same money.

what do you know about them so far? where did you read/hear about them? what kind of riding do you do?

if you're looking at it as a replacement or upgrade for your 250ex, it will scare you (if not get you hurt) if you're not ready for the power it has.... just being honest

First of all that is way to much money.and i do alot of racing and trails.and its not an upgrade from my 250ex and it wont "scare me" i dont even ride my quad all that much. I ride my friends z-400 all the time and im dieing for more power from that thing. i want an r really bad. what do u think i should get. An 250r or a Wild H.P 300

i'll lay out the numbers & let you do the math:

2500-4000 250R used, hopefully in good shape
1800 chromoly frame
500-1100 A-arms +4"
1000-1300 dual rate fully adjustable shocks
300 anti vibe steering shaft
350-450 aftermarket +4" axle
1000-2000 motor mods (powervalve big bore)
300 pipe/silencer
200 hydraulic clutch
400 razr tires douglas .190 wheels
300 'wave' type brake rotors
150 stainless brake lines
1000 misc expenses
* lots of labor to put it together *

once you start running the numbers, the gas gas starts looking more like a deal for everything you get. especially if you are going to do the same mods anyways. did i mention the subframe, steering shaft, A-arms, brake pedal & radiator mount are chromed??
at 51" wide it's not such a great trail ride, however- there are some companies making narrow A-arms & the rear axle is adjustable.
my mods so far include a powervalve cover, jet kit, case saver, suspension links, removing unecessary lighting/wiring/alternator, different wheels/tires, & shock covers... i'll have different bars & a thumb throttle on it soon.
if you ask me, the gasgas is the way to go... having 50+ horspower on tap is fun to say the least.
