I was just curious how hot it is where everyone rode over the last week......We braved it and rode at our local dunes yesterday .The temps got up to 110Dg!!!!! :eek2: Lots of jumpin in the lake and shade time and TONS of H20...We did alot of night riding as well.Is it as hot at other places where you ride? by Tues its suppose to be 105 in town meaning around 115 in the desert areas we ride......:(

92:ermm:

Was supposed to go up to bull gap tommorow, but mom had to have surgery again in the middle of last week (she's not ready to ride or work yet). She gets bummed out when we go without her, so I rode around here, would have a bit cooler up there, but I still had fun on my 426.

The good news is, she's probrably out of the woods as far as the possibility of having cancer goes. So that's a big relief:)

It was 93 today and I did a 1 hour long race with my friend on his Mojave too. Whew, it felt hot but suprisingly I didn't have as much engine heat as I expected. I like riding right at sundown. Feels cool and seems like my quad is a bit peppier. Maybe it is the fact I can't see worth a chit compared to daylight. The headlight makes things seem to go by faster.

Oh, in case your wondering, I won the race.:p

Man that heat & humidity kicked my *** in the WORCS @ Millville, by the fourth lap I had stomach cramps and felt like I was gonna yak so I dropped out at the end of the lap after about 75-80minutes of a 2hr race. The motocross section was great but the woods were really hot, so many turns, it really took it out of me. I figured quit while I'm ahead and not wrapped around a tree.

Yep - about 115 - 118 lately - I ride at night now - most of the tracks around here have night practices these days, which is the only way to ride in AZ in the summer.....until the monsoons hit. Then riding right after a rainstorm is the BEST! :)

Thanks, I hope so too

I've been trying to help her with her health and eating habbits. I got my dad to lose 20 lb's in three months. Ever since she took a head of the floor postition (shes a nurse) the stress must have been getting to her, becuase her health just dropped to the floor. Shes been having problems ever since then (for about 3 yrs now). Gotta remember to go grocery shopping for her before work today, better write myself a note right now.:ermm:

I got her quad all ready for her, when she's ready to ride again. Changed the oil, wahsed it, cleaned the air filter ect. Hopefully in 2 weeks she'll be ready. Grocery shopping sucks too:ermm:

Still no ice house beer at the store. It got cooler out here (70's), but it also brought in the thunder storms wich=no riding this morning:ermm:

Lol thanks, Usually there is no point in getting mad about stuff, either laugh or let it go (usually). Thats pretty much Eeyore. Used to watch that show alot as a kid.

Not sure whats wrong with the stores around here, next time I'm in a canadian bar or clubb, I'm gonna ask for an icehouse. See if there also black listed for some reason. :ermm: As far as the weather goes, that's michigan for ya.
