Have any of you guys run into a problem with the boot that runs from the air box to carb being to short? It lacks about 3/8-1/2 inch.
The air box is tight and as far forward as it will go. The motor mounts are tight and there are no signs that the motor has moved. The frame doesn't look like it is bent or broken anywhere.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe the boot from the box to the carb has shrunk from old age. :confused: Is this a common problem? Has anyone ever run into this before? Anyone have an idea of what the problem might be?
