I just installed my new ELKA shocks without rezzies and something did not seem right, they are triple rate springs, the top spring compresses about 3/4 of its travel, my stock front shocks didn't move when I sat on the quad, the ELKAS sag about 3 inches, is this normal? was my stock suspension that far out of adjustment. how much sag is normal for ELKA shocks?

sounds about right. the ssd will sag when your weight is applied. now ride it:)

The top spring will compress under the weight of the bike. It is the SSD spring.

does elka make front 250r shocks without ssd??? i dont want to lower my 250r at all because of where i ride, deep ruts are very common, and that is where i gain time racing my friends, cuz i run 22 inch tires and they get stuck in the ruts using 20 inchers.

i am looking at getting some new shocks, tcs or elka are my options, but i dont want my quad lowered

Yes, you can get them without SSD!
SSD doesn't effect your clearance in ruts. The swingarm skid is what hangs you up in ruts. SSD only lowers the frame, not the swingarm.
