Those are sweet. My mom works at a place that makes sockets and they chrome them so I can get it done free.

Those 3 peices and the 4 bolts for the motor mounts costed me 50$ to have chromed, the reasoned why it was that much is because the stuff is aluminum. And yes my quad is done for now.... I was at the garage today and forgot the camera! Oh well until next time I'll get a pic. I will be officially done for this season when I get my denton +2 +1 a arms and +2 fastline brake lines. But yes it is running and I took it for a quick spin today, and I will be riding on Monday.

I polished and chromed some stuff on mine. I took a bunch of stuff to the chromer and brought home everything that was aluminum. The motor mounts polished out to look just like chrome with some elbow grease... as in sanding, sanding, sanding and finally polishing. They're holding up pretty good too. Alot better than the side covers. For those of you with more time than money... :D

I polished mine a few weeks ago with a palm sander. and some mothers polish. I just worked up from 120 grit to 600 grit sandpaper then mothers and i put a piece of a t-shirt on the sander and i find i can get a better finish than with my buffing wheel. I also did my side cases on the bike like this. Ive been meaning to get some pics but ive gotta get my buddy to come down with his digicam cause he dosent let anyone else touch it.

t shirt idea is cool.....but when i said buffing wheel it is a baldor with 2 10" wheels and i use professional grade compounds....cause i polish on the side in my business...but i never liked mothers polish....

Chris, looks good! What kind of paint is that on your frame and exhaust shield?

Ive got the hole eastwood buffing setup at work. I find the buffing wheel setup makes it a little shinnier but less of a mirrir and the mothers/ palmsanderw/t-shirt gives less shinniet but a perfect mirror

ok mysticfalcon....each to his own:) but mine have a perfect mirror finish.......

400exdad....it is powdercoat that i do in my shop.....mirror black with prism powder in it at a higher ratio......in the shade the frame looks black only:D
