400ex quick change cover owners look here..

Since i put my cover on i can not have any slack in my clutch cable when adjusted. If i have and slack and put it in gear it just takes off. For it to work normally i must have tension on the cable. Lets hear your thoughts of suggestions.

Just wondering if you got any parts with it that i didnt. I just bought the XR400 cover then the hinson colver after. Any kind of special gaskets or spacers. I did use the clutch holder for an XR400.

i had a xr400 cover and thats the one i broke:mad: i ordered a hinson and it came with the case..the removable cover...the rubber o ring and a gasket....and a 400ex clutch cable holder. the xr cover came with the xr clutch acuating arm and although it works it has too much freeplay so i stock the stock 400 one back in there.

humm... maybe i need the XR400 arm, I don't have enought free play.
