brake lever

This will seem stupid but I did a complete switch over to a new frame, the only problem I had/have is I have no idea how to remove the brake lever. I thought it would just tap out but it won't. It looks flared on the inside part of it, should it be like that? Oh ya...it is a 400ex

if your talking back brake, there should be a keeper pin on the back side. it is kinda hard to see from the side of the quad. looking from underneith its plain as day....

ya thats the one. I removed the pin already and I thought it would just slide out, but it wont. Is the one on yours flared on the inside?. I should have called it brake pedal (not lever).
