I just bought some 8x8 hipers and I am not sure how to mount the tire on them (1st set of beadlocks). They seperate in the middle, do you seperate them and place them on each side of the tire and do it up? Or do you mount them like a normal rim?

yep, separate them, set the bead in the channel, put the beadlock on then screw it down :)

Dude,
You DO NOT have to seperate the HiPers in the middle to mount them!!! Just pull the bead of the tire over the lip of the rim using a large screw driver or a tire iron. When the rim is in the middle of the tire mount the bead rings and your done. It takes about 5 minutes. These are the easiest rims in the world to mount tires to.
If you still can't figure it out call hiper and ask for help.

yz250 is right, you NOT suppose to seperate it at the middle.
