I need to get a new set of grips but have no idea which ones to buy. I had a set of Smith dual density soft compound but they never seemed to stay glued so I replaced them with Renthal firm compound and my hands blister every time I do a all day ride. I wear gloves, but they only delay the inevitable. The Renthal's are also too thin. Any advise?

I run Oury's. There real soft, but big around. I use three safety wires per grip and skip the glue. Haven't one come off yet unless you count stuffing a bar end in the ground right after I hit it, LOL. Also get some of those" blister resister" glove liners. Several companys sell them. Hope that helps later Joe.

I run OURY grips as well. These are much more comfortable than any others I have found. As OURY recommended, I used 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive to glue mine in place, and they haven't moved since I installed them. This adhesive is available at most auto body supply places and probably some auto parts stores.

I've went through about 4 sets of Hurricanes...I will never get them again...they just don't last. I am currently using Scott Comp 2's which are WAY nicer.

OK. sounds good. I think I'm going to order the Oury's. Anyone have any suggestions for comfortable gloves? I currently wear Fox Dirtpaws.

Mechanix M-Pact or Mechanix M-Pact 2..both are really good gloves!!!!

I wear Thor Freestyle gloves. They don't have as much padding on the back, but they move and flex real good. Oh yeah they were last years model so I do know if they are still in production.

I have a pair of these (http://www.progrip.com/default.asp?tip=8&ite=gri) , and they are the most comfortable grip I have used on my quad. They are big and soft, and don't bite into your hands at all. They are part of the Rally series from ProGrip, #714 (red).

I put some ProGrips on my 400 and they SUCK! My hands bleed from blood blisters every time I ride. I might have to try out the Oury grips.

I run renthal medium diamond grips and they work great but not very soft.

I used to run Renthal full waffle medium compound and they were great! Now I run factory Cannondale motorcycle grips, they are the best yet!
