online buying/shipping/reliablity?

So anyone ever bought a ATV/car/trike/dirt bike off of ebay and sites like that?
is it better to buy local need some opinions!

always check seller rating. if possible check to see if others have left reviews on their dealings with them.

do a little research and you will be able to figure out if the person you are buying from is cool.

I got my 250r back east out of Indiana off of ebay. I had a buddy pick it up and ship it and sent him the money to pay for it. That way I would know for sure the guy wouldnt flake. My bro bought and 250r off of ebay and got ripped, the guy took the money and didnt send the quad:mad: :( :grr:
