basically separating the very core of the tranny.. you take off all the side cases and do something else.. i saw it done to mine. but i wasnt in it myself.

I watched our R's cases get split before. Seemed like a lot more work than I ever wanted to be given!

my buddy is takin my tranny apart because of a little problem i had and he needs a impacter and its still a b!tch to get apart

It's not hard, just kinda time comsuming and boring. But it's something that has to be done from time to time. Now if i'm doing it to trench the cases for a 10mm stroker, which can, and will, happen (muuahaha) thats a different story :devil:
