Rich ???

I have a pipe and filter and no airbox lid and im running a 170 main jet that is in the k& n jet kit. I did everything it says put i still fowl out the plugs everyonce and a while. Should i go down to the next size and see how it runs then?? In the winter it doesnt run that well and i read the post about the 42 pilot jet. Can i run this all the time or just in the winter. Will it affect anything? Anything i should know about for tunning my bike in pesise? Thanks

I have the same mods you list...Pipe, K&N,no airbox lid

I also had the 170 main in mine and it was too rich. I ended up calling the manufacturer of my pipe and they recommended a 160 main for my mods listed, and my altitude-below 2000 feet. I went up to a #40 pilot also, helps cold starting alot.
